Assassins Creed: Syndicate Trailer Introduces First Playable Female Assassin

The Assassin's Creed franchise is continuing its murder-filled romp through the annals of history, and this time it's absorbing all the industrial smog, poverty and Cockney slang of Victorian London.

As the next title in the perhaps slightly too prolific franchise, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is expected to change things up a bit. For one thing, it now features a mechanic which will allow the player to change, GTA V-style, between two playable characters - twins Jacob and Evie Frye. UbiSoft has just placed the focus on the latter of the two in a new trailer from E3. It introduces the more 'traditional assassin' character of Evie, as well as showcasing some of her gear. Sony has also recently announced that they have won out in the competition to get exclusive content for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. When purchased on PS4, the game will have additional missions, many of which are based off the work of Sherlock Holmes author Arthur Conan Doyle.
