Games Workshop's

Post-apocalypses come in numerous structures. There's your inauspicious, frightening, battle for-survival end of the world; as found in STALKER or The Road. At that point there's your crazy, calfskin wearing, half-crazed end of the world of Mad Max or Fallout. Indeed, this last oppressed world says, things are terrible. Anyway, isn't subjugation gear fun?

This week—I accept because of the late Mad Max: Fury Road—we've seen a few designers report their ultraviolent apocalypses. There's Crossout, from the War Thunder devs, and now Auroch Digital has reported Dark Future: Blood Red States. It's a PC adjustment of the Games Workshop prepackaged game, and is cheesily teased in the trailer bene

In Blood Red States the player is put accountable for a Sanctioned Ops office taking contracts and bounties out in the badlands. The diversion is portrayed by Auroch as "a turn-based procedure amusement, played out in synchronous constant activity." It sounds a touch like a vehicular Frozen Synapse, which could be really clever if done right.

Dull Future: Blood Red States is expected out this winter.
